Privacy policy

How data is handled when you visit the site or write to its publisher.

In short. The site has no account and no cookie. The contact form sends your message to the publisher by email, with your name, email address and mobile number, which are used only to reply to you. The site itself keeps no copy.

Data controller

The data controller is the publisher of the site, Aurélien Ambert, a private individual. Contact: contact@qdna.fr.

Messages sent to the publisher

The contact form collects your name, email address, mobile phone number, the subject and the message. This information, like messages written directly to the contact address, is used only to reply to you, on the basis of the legitimate interest in answering messages received (article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Before sending, the site checks that the number is a mobile number and that the domain of your address receives mail. For this second check, only the domain name, the part after the @, is submitted to Cloudflare's DNS resolver. The message is then sent by email, and the site keeps no copy.

Only the publisher reads these messages. They pass through Cloudflare, the site's host, under the conditions described below, then through the mail service of Proton AG in Switzerland, a country recognised by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of protection. Messages are kept for the duration of the exchange, and you can ask for their deletion at any time.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, objection and portability. You exercise them by writing to contact@qdna.fr. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.

Cookies and audience measurement

The site sets no cookie on any page and uses no advertising tracker or profiling. Traffic is measured by Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookie-free solution that assigns no identifier allowing a visitor to be followed from one site to another.

Nothing is read from or written to your device. Once the beacon has loaded, Cloudflare sets no cookie, no local storage entry and no session storage entry (checked on the live rendering on 5 September 2026). Article 82 of the French data protection act therefore does not apply to this measurement, and no banner is shown.

Legal basis. The publisher's legitimate interest in knowing page traffic in order to maintain and improve the pages (article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The tool stores nothing on your device, does not follow you across sites, and only per-page totals are used.

What is measured. According to Cloudflare's documentation, the beacon records the country, domain name, page path, referrer, device type, browser, operating system, navigation type and load timings.

Recipient and location. The recipient is Cloudflare, Inc., a company established in the United States, acting as processor. The measurement request goes to its global network. The transfer to the United States relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and on Cloudflare's certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Retention. The publisher keeps no traffic data: it looks at the totals aggregated by Cloudflare, whose retention period is set by Cloudflare.

Objecting. Article 21 GDPR lets you object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to contact@qdna.fr. A content blocker installed in your browser also prevents the beacon from loading.

Security

Pages and the form are served over HTTPS. Messages received are stored encrypted by the publisher's mailbox.
